Sermon Series

SUMMER IN THE PSALMS:  The Psalms are a collection of 150 prayers and praises from the life of ancient Israel.  They were prayed by Jesus and have been prayed by the Church for two thousand years.  Are they still relevant today?  Do they have the power to deepen our prayer life and enrich our worship?  Come and find out...

Welcome to King of Kings Children’s Ministries

Children are a valued part of King of Kings, and we treasure their presence as Christ did. Scripture teaches that children are a gift from God, wonderful and precious, and are to be guarded and guided with care. We welcome the children and seek to lead them to experience the love of God in such a way that inspires them to follow Christ and to share their faith with others. No child is too young to feel the warmth of Jesus’ love.

Children are taught biblical truths as they form relationships with other students and caring teachers. As they enjoy one another and interesting activities, they are led to apply God’s Word to their lives and to develop a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Children are invited to worship with their parents for the opening praise time at our 10:00 am Sunday service. Upon dismissal, teachers will escort them to the children’s area of the YMCA for a time of age-appropriate worship, learning and sharing. Led by caring volunteers and staff, children learn about Jesus’ love for them and the worship traditions of the church through song, scripture reading, prayer, crafts, drama and games. After The Peace (a break in our service before Communion starts), the children are picked up by their parents to share the rest of the service together.
