A Call2Discipleship Retreat
Friday Mar 16th & Saturday Mar 17th
This is the Lord’s call – we are to grow up in Christ that we might be effective in His service and for His glory. Is that you? Is there anything keeping you from being an intentional disciple? Do you know this maturing in faith, this growing in grace? Are you experiencing what Paul writes about in 2 Corinthians 3:18, “being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory?”
The retreat follows an Acts 2:42 format. There will be worship, fellowship, teaching, and prayer. The hope is not just to learn about discipleship, but to practice it.

Details:
- Speakers: Thad and Erilynne Barnum. Thad Barnum is a bishop in the Anglican Church of Rwanda and the Rector of Church of the Apostles in Fairfield, CT. He is the author of Never Silent a book about renewal in the Anglican Church of Rwanda. Erilynne is an ordained deacon in the Anglican Church and bible teacher. Both Thad and Erilynne are gifted teachers of scripture and have a passion for promoting discipleship in the local church. Learn more about their ministry, Call2Disciple.
- Time: Friday March 16th, 7:00 – 9:30 pm, Saturday March 17th, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
- Location: All events will take place at: St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 2027 Emerywood Dr, Charlotte, NC 28210
- Childcare: There is childcare available for Saturday only for $5 per child. Childcare opens 8:30 am on Saturday.
- Cost: there is no cost for attending the conference, but a love offering will be taken.
- Lodging: If you need lodging, there are a limited number of home stays available, free of cost. Please indicate your interest in the registration form below. There are also a number of hotels close by. We have reserved a block of rooms at a special rate ($79 per night) at the nearby Courtyard Charlotte Southpark.
