Sermon Series

SUMMER IN THE PSALMS:  The Psalms are a collection of 150 prayers and praises from the life of ancient Israel.  They were prayed by Jesus and have been prayed by the Church for two thousand years.  Are they still relevant today?  Do they have the power to deepen our prayer life and enrich our worship?  Come and find out...

At King of Kings we place a high value on community. We believe that no one should have to live the Christian Life alone. We believe that there is power in gathering together, in small group bible studies, prayer fellowships, and  community groups. We believe that God meets us as we gather just as Jesus promised us in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Here at King of Kings we have both small groups and community groups. We encourage everyone to be involved in either a small group or community group whether it is formal or informal. We distinguish between small groups and community groups, though we deeply value both expressions of community gathering. While small groups may be organized around specific needs or affinities, community groups are patterned after the vision of King of Kings. Community groups are an intentional way to live out the vision statement of King of Kings, "We seek to live life in Christ to the fullest".  We do this in community groups by spending seasons of emphasis on each area of our values, "community, learning, mission, liturgy, and the Holy Spirit."  Our hope is that community groups give us a venue to put into practice our vision in tangible and grace-filled ways as we are led by the Spirit.  Please join us as we walk together towards all the fullness Jesus has for His people.
