Children's Ministry

At King of Kings, we believe that children are our youngest disciples, deserving nurturing, intentional care and teaching while in our midst. To that end, we utilize Godly Play for our approach to the spiritual formation of these youngest members of our church family. Through storytelling, wondering together, and spending time responding creatively to the Word that has been shared, children can engage in developmentally-appropriate and meaningful ways to the stories and practices of our Anglican faith.

Drop-off for the birth to three-year-old classroom begins at 9:45 a.m.  Children ages 3-11 years old are invited to worship with their parents for the beginning of our 10:00 am Sunday service, then their teachers will escort them downstairs to the children’s area for their gathering time. After The Peace (just before Communion starts), the three to eleven-year-olds will be brought back into the service by their teachers, and children in the nursery will be picked up by their parents.
